Housatonic River guide service is out there. Catching fish and catching smiles to keep the tradition going. Fishing has been good, especially over the weekend. Lots of rising fish, lots of feeding fish and actually a lot of blue wing olives. So if you get a chance get up here and fish and book a guide trip.

My last big hurrah of leading a large group 😄 me and the boys took out a large group of 24 people on the river. They had an absolute spectacular time. Didn't catch a ton of fish. It was a little cold but everybody left with smiles and can't wait to do it again next year. As I said, I've turned over the reins to Scott beecroft who will be running the guide services with my guides from now on.

The labels for our hot sauce arrived Lucas is now in charge of labeling since mine is crooked. Fiery brews made with Carolina reapers, ghost peppers, mango and a lot of other ingredients Pandora's bottle is the hotter one - we grow our own peppers and it took us a few years to get it right, but I think these are the best hot sauces I've ever ever.

Steeprock association is fully able to restrict fishing in whatever section they want in The preserve. I was mistaken. They do have the legal right to do it. I still think it is wrong but to fish there is actually trespassing so don't do it.

The steep Rock association is able to restrict fishing and the sections I was mistaken. They're legally able to do so so don't fish in those areas. It would be considered trespassing. I still think it is wrong but again they have the legal right to restrict fishing in that area to the Washington rod and gun club.

Scott has taken over the reins of my guide services. Please give him a shout email or text next time you want to be guided on the river. He worked for me for 20 years and the best of my staff. Tristan, Tom and the rest of the boys will be working for him. In addition, don't forget to write those letters and texts and emails to steep Rock to stop them from limiting fishing access on the Shepaug River.

We had a great fishing show in plainville and we're doing another one. This Saturday. I again will be bringing a ton of rods. The Fenwick rods were hit both spinning and fly fishing sage rods, Loomis rods. Every reel you can imagine and tons and tons of fly tying materials. The fly tying materials are unbelievable quality, so come early and grab them while you can.
