Sometimes we dream of making a difference around the world, yet God often calls us to begin His greatest work of love much closer to home.
There’s an old expression from a beloved hymn: “Brighten the corner where you are.” It’s a reminder that before we focus on reaching distant places, we should faithfully care for the people God has already placed in our lives.
