The honey has been flowing this spring! We have collected 564 lbs as of June 12; however, last year we had only pulled 277 lbs. In 2024 we collected 520 lbs; in 2023 it was 160 lbs. In 2022, the total at this date was 280 lbs.

There are several factors involved: quality queens, more normal winter weather, fewer exposures to insecticides; and healthy colonies.

Varietal honey available to order for pickup at our home:

Buckwheat --1 lb jar
Raspberry Blossom --1 lb jar
Honeysuckle --1 lb jar and 1/2 lb jar
Orange Blossom --1 lb and 1/2 lb jar
Cranberry Blossom --1 lb jar

Thank you for recycling. At the Howland Farmers Market we received 50 jars to be refilled with out honey. FIFTY!

Look for us at the Howland Farmers Market Saturday 9-1. Our bright yellow tent should be easy to find.

We have a variety of honey and products, all from our bees!

Because of the cold weather, we are not putting many jars of honey in our cupboard.

Howland Farmers’ Market 10-1

Visit us at the Indoor Howland Farmers' Market on Saturday 10-3 at the SCOPE center. This will be our last market until June.

We have 4 varieties of lip balm: Vanilla Jamocha, Cappuccino, Nutmeg and Caramel Swirl, and Creamy Caramel--all make great stocking stuffers.

Honey varieties include Knotweed, Basswood, Clover, Wildflower, Buckwheat, and more. We also have a few creamed honey available.

We will be at the Howland Farmers Market on Saturday, 10-1. Cyndi has a number of products available for holiday gifts.

Of course, we have a variety of honey, too.
