The February read I picked for another book challenge is Mango and Peppercorns. The challenge was to read a breakout novel of a person of color. I chose this book because it told the story of a Vietnamese refugee who landed in Miami and opened o e of the most successful Vietnamese restaurants in the city. It was a great story and I loved that they included many of the recipes from her family.
