I've been Keeping busy sorting and distilling frankincense this month! I just wanted to share a little of what I was able to accomplish. I was happy to be able to distill boswellia sacra from Oman, boswellia carterii from Somalia, and boswellia neglecta from the Ogaden region of Ethiopia. I will need to focus on distilling more sacra the next few distillations, but I am exited and getting prepared to distill some wonderful sweet myrrh, opopanax which is also from the Ogaden region of Ethiopia. I have a very limited supply of Boswellia Dalzielii which is now available at Frankincense.net! This frankincense resin is from West Africa, and has a particularly sweet and spicy smell. The sweet smell reminds me of hojari frankincense! Boswellia Dalzielii also has the highest recorded amounts of Boswellic Acid.
