Don Miles has some valves inbound to build some new horns!

I spoke with Don this last two weeks and he’s been building bells! He’s working on a 229/239 bell type that the mandrel is complete. The hope is to build a C trumpet to go along with the Bb. I should have a working prototype in the coming months.

It’s been a while since we’ve posted. Our friend Austin from Austin Custom Brass recently did a video of one of our prototype horns he acquired recently and we can’t say than you enough for the feedback! I’ll post a link to his video on you tube.

Those of you possibly looking for a new trumpet, reach out to us! Don was out of town for quite some time taking care of his Mother in her last months. He’s back in his shop ready to get building horns again. Not only can he get the Cincy horns to you, he still want to build his completely custom horns.

Don is actively working on a new bell for C trumpets. This is based off a similar idea to a 239. This will be added to the line up for the cincy horns once we get a prototype finished. The bell should be done in the next couple of weeks. Once that r&d is finished, it will go into limited production.

This was the 3rd horn in the series. When we did the serial number set up, he numbered them 1-17, 2-17,3-17,etc for the horn built in that year and then the year.

This used Miles Cincinatti Bb trumpet is in excellent condition. Silver plate #2 Leadpipe Some light scratches inside bell, and a few superficial scratches to finish No other dents, dings, or signs of trauma Includes case

CTC has our first custom trumpet available for purchase! It is our Model #1 and comes with a Don Miles Number 4 leadpipe and medium taper bell. The trumpet is built on world class Getzen valves.
