I left this on a comment, and I feel it's a better post than within the comments.

yeah, if I could snap my fingers and "put the fries in the bag "bro" they'd already be bagged and out.
but it's also funny. Because there's people that run to fb, and all over to be keyboard warriors because they
*didn't get their way
*were rude
*were ignorant
*acted entitled, like their order was the only one that counted.
yet all the orders count. And when you try to do what you think is right, someone condems you for it. Switch up and do it their way, OOPS, thats wrong too. Then you do the best with what you have...and even that's a problem because everyone has an opinion.
Yeah, i'd love to be healthy, for my parents to be healthy too. to not have power outages, to not be behind on orders, and for everyone to get their order in a timely manner.
But life kicked me last year, and kept kicking me. And what do people do when they see it? they kick more.
I'm offering a service for books that can be ordered, and shipped. and if the price goes up, im not an ebay person where they can cancel the bidding, and renegotiate the price. I'm not gouging anyone, as you see the absolute batman's that went for cover or a bit more.
There are some people willing to wait. Some aren't. Some think I'm amazon. I'm not. I don't have a fleet of people. and to answer someone from another post, No, I don't chase books. I have them in stock.
To anyone who does read this, I am doing what I can. I can only do so much. and it's amazing when somone comes out and howls at me because i'm making sure everyone is taken care of. Not just you.
And I would rather make sure the books are 100% protected when shipped. so it takes me a bit to package them as I am verifying no damage, or issues.
But what do people care. I'm just a shop owner that doesnt care about people. I'm not looking out for the money you spent. Because people came on here and trashed me, all because they didn't have "paitence" and that's fine. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. And I don't knock it. You wanna hate? Hate. I'm not going to stop you. However it's not going to stop me from doing what I do. Because people WANT their books. They WANT what they ordered. And no matter what anyone says, I'm gonna keep doing the best I can to take care of things. Whether you cry about it, pout or not. And it's all words. I hold no ill will towards anyone. But don't come at me with negativity and attitude and expect fluff. I'm not that guy. the other person isn't that person either. They have a saying
Match energy with energy" So when someone tosses shade, swears, threatens, or talks down...yeah, that person will stand their ground. And yes people have done that. But they also have threatened because they want NOW, and not be respectful to the people that are waiting.
Why not ask the people that are willing to wait if its okay to get your books before them. Why not ask them if you can cut the line, and get what YOU think is okay, because you spent money. So did they. Yet you want NOW. and they've been paitent and respectful. So I make sure they're well taken care of with extras, discount codes, and more.
What do others get? Yeah, attitude back. they get their order canceled and then they come here and complain about it. They get their order with nothing else to it. Why? Because we all had a mom that taught us to respect others. We all learned that being toxic to others was bad. Yet I have many emails and reciepts of people doing exactly that.
But sure. I'm just a small business owner losing everything, while trying to bring great products to people. And all you folks do is keep kicking me down. Well, feel free to keep kicking. Cuz I'm going to catch up with my orders one day. and i'll have a book you want. and your toxic attitude won't be welcome here.
If you can't handle someone at their worst, you don't deserve them at their best. "
