Update....
1. Working on a last minute call for about 3 people and 1 more truck to go with us to NC tomorrow. We have identified a youth/foster home in desperate need of help to get their school reopened. Will have more details this afternoon. If you can go please let me know. I'll send u details.
2. Everyone dropping off supplies at my home. I have a table out in from of my garage or space on a table inside. I'm going to be gone most of the day but please leave them there. Thank you so much for the donations and help.

Everyone.... talked with my contact late last night from NC. She will have me a destination and immediate needs list by tomorrow. As soon as I get it, I'll post it and we'll start collecting...... Need everyone's help.

Everyone.... We have the ball rolling for the hurricane relief trip for Saturday, Oct 19th to Western, NC. I've established a few contacts and sent messages. Waiting to hear back. As soon as I get the location and needed supplies, I will post them.
Concentrating on three things...
1. An area in desperate need of help that's not getting it.
2. A list of immediate supplies needed.
3. What task we can accomplish when we get there. (Maybe staying a day or two to get them going)
I would like to consolidate some of our local efforts. Any supplies that still need to go, maybe a few vehicles to travel together, and networking to achieve our goal.

PLEASE READ and SHARE.... I got home last night about 1am after a week in Western, NC doing hurrincane relief. While I was there, I heard about other areas that weren't receiving the needed help they need. I thought about this all the way home.
My concern isn't why but what I can do to help these areas. I have a lot of people contacting me that want to donate and help. My goal is to identify an area/small town that is in desperate need and collect supplies for and head out first thing Saturday morning (Oct 19th) But I need everyone's help, please share this with everyone, put me in contact with anyone in these areas, or someone who has contacts with a desperately in need community that's not receiving the needed help.
I would also like to combine this effort with a few others that are collecting donations and supplies.
I will work out the rest. Thank you all. God bless this great nation. 🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷

Hurricane Relief - If you haven't helped out so far, here is your chance. I'm leaving tomorrow after lunch to Spruce Pine, NC. (Volunteered for the week with Baptists on Mission Disaster Relief Team.) I want to pack my truck with supplies.... No need to carry an empty truck. I have started it out with 10 cases of water.
Bottle water, canned foods, first aid items, tarps, pet food, toiletries, etc.
