Most people don't know how rough it is now for those of us who have small businesses, It's Really scary. As if the Covid times weren't bad enough, these last two years are even more dismal. My landlord, who has had a business in Locke for 40+ years, said that it's worse than he's ever seen it and that in the past visitors would buy a little something in appreciation of the wealth of knowledge shared, the experience and the desire to support small businesses. It's not that way anymore and It's not just Locke. Many shops have had to close down and many are on their way. Please make a small purchase when you visit a shop that you enjoy... even $5 can make a huge difference... maybe help pay some of the electric bill. It's disheartening when I've had 40 people in the shop, been engaged with people about Locke and Delta history, gave suggestions on what to see and do and not had a single sale. Baristas and Bartenders get tips for far less! So, that having been said...we have so many awesome things in our shops and most of them are on Sale!!!

Hello! More than a year ago I was hacked and have finally given up on getting my accounts back... thanks Meta for your security breach and concern for small businesses. It was a lot of fun for my followers and myself to repeatedly notify "you" and I especially loved doing the facial recognitions that were never recognized. Small businesses Beware! My particular kind of Scum is Nigerian and targets small businesses that have regular customers who trust them. I have talked with many who had it happen around the same time as The Merge. If you Didn't figure what happened...I am Not into Crypto Currency, I Didn't buy a Tesla and a New Home in Texas with all of the Money I made and Didn't post a truck for sale on Marketplace for a Ridiculously low price and take deposits for Non-Existent truck. What Did happen is that I lost my personal account that started at the beginning of Facebook and my Seeker account that began 9 years ago. Years of Very Hard work and a Personal Journey/Journal were Stolen and used for Nefarious purposes. I Lost thousands of followers who I communicated with through Facebook and Instagram. We small businesses are Really Struggling to Survive and Need all of the Help that we can get...Now! Thanks again, Meta... I'm So Happy that "You" are Profiting off of our Labors!
