When we are not spending our days building transmissions or re-designing and manufacturing transmission parts such as THE FIRST 68 BILLET CHANNEL PLATE or THE FIRST 10 SPEED VALVE BODY, we are doing one offs and little odd jobs. Todays high light is what started as a small business, an original to our area, a little company that has dabbled in the fishing lure business. We were contacted about taking their lure molds and making some adjustments to fit their new machines. The Big Man himself said he wanted to stay in USA and a local as possible. Walnut Grove is almost as local to Springfield as you can get. Now since how this lure company is now a REEL (see what I did there) big company I am not able to say any names until they do their own publicity thing. But I did get the approval to talk about we are doing and pisting our own photos. So heres it is... Our parts are still running on our other machines but we have 1 machine that is working just on this. We are excited for this new endeavor. The 2026 Racing season has officially started. If you are looking for a track series to join, Titans of 10.5 is a great choice. Good morning Facebook. These two gals have been running 24/7 for the last week keeping up with one operation of our new 10 speed 10L100 valve bodies for all you GM guys and gals. We are doing all we can to keep up with production on them as well as still making the other parts we manufacture in house like our billet 68RFE pumps, and channel plates! Thank you to all our great customers. We can not wait to see what 2026 brings.

I'd like to start it off saying, it's better to deliver something late that we all can be proud of, than to show up on time nowhere near perfection.
That said we have worked the last 22 months to finally be here today. We are VERY proud of what we've accomplished and expect the world to feel the same.
Originally, we didn't set out to make a new valve body for the 10L1000, but to fix the issues that the industry seemed to be plagued with, we decided to give it a try. We were getting calls and even seeing for ourselves a lot of these transmissions with the castings busted, low and high limit valve bores gone and having TCC reg valve issues. It seemed inevitable to have to go down the long and winding road of making a new DNJ version. We have done all we can and will continue to make every single valve body that is made here at DNJ as close to perfect and far above OE specifications as we possibly can. We've tested, tested and TESTED during the last 6-8 months to make sure everything functions and stays above par.

These valve bodies are made of T6061 billet aluminum, WHY? The T6 temper of 6061 aluminum is particularly suitable for valve bodies due to its excellent strength-to-weight ratio and corrosion resistance. The T6 temper provides a balance of strength and ductility, making it ideal for applications where both durability and flexibility are required. Additionally, the T6 temper's good weldability and machinability allow for easy assembly and manufacturing of valve bodies. After completing the machining process, they then are cleaned, deburred, bores are checked, polished and vacuumed to ensure all bores stay above all OE standards. With our vacuum pump calibration set at 25lbs, all the bores on all valves are ranging between 22-23.5lbs. This ensures all bores are true, straight and will help keep the life of your transmission healthy longer.
