We're just a few weeks out from hosting Romantasy author Katherine Whiteheart for a signing! We will have Sliders Street Food set up in our parking lot during the event, so come by and meet the author, grab her books and get them signed, then grab some delicious food!

We're so excited to announce that next month, Walnut Cove's own Katherine Whiteheart will be hosting a signing at our store! From 12-3pm on Saturday, June 20th, stop by and meet Katherine, learn more about her Romantasy series, and purchase signed books!

Here's a little bit about her: Raised in the small foothill town of Walnut Cove, North Carolina, Katherine Whiteheart developed a love for the art of storytelling. Having spent the majority of her life hearing stories of the paranormal and fantastical creatures, Katherine now writes her own stories filled with love, magic, and the macabre. She currently lives in the mountains of her home state with her family and their pets.

There are no tickets required for this event. If you already own copies of her books and would like to have those signed, please feel free to bring those in! Otherwise, she will have books available for purchase that day!

We had a great time with Wonder Wheels today for our Read and Play! We had lots of new faces and a few returning friends! The book was a big hit and all the kiddos enjoyed their time playing on the bus! Big thanks to The Sippin Shack Beverage Co. For coming and setting up today as well!

We also want to give a special shout out and a huge thank you to Busted Knuckle Inc. and El Cabo Mexican Restaurante for sponsoring this Read and Play! Thank you for your continued support and helping promote literacy throughout our community!

Join us at Wallflower Book Co. for Book Bingo on June 13th! Tickets are required and must be purchased in advance. Cost to play is $20 per person and includes 6 games (3 cards per game, except the final round), refreshments, and 20% off any purchases made during the event. Ages 16+. Doors open at 6pm and the game begins at 6:15pm. All prizes will be book themed, with a special final round featuring a fun prize!

Starting next week, our hours will be slightly changing! We'll be opening at 10am most days instead of 9am, but everything else is staying the same! Until then, our hours are still the same, so we will be open today and tomorrow from 9-6, and 9-4 on Saturday!
