🤎Monday Musings 🤎
Yesterday was Father’s Day, but if you ask me, men like Denny deserve to be celebrated every single day.
Most of you know him as Big D… the guy with the big personality, the quick wit, and the one who can make just about anybody laugh.
And yes… that’s him.
But what so many don’t get to see is the man I get to come home to.
The gentle one.
The humble one.
The man with one of the biggest hearts I’ve ever known.
He has always put our boys and me before himself. Every decision, every sacrifice, every ounce of hard work has been rooted in loving and providing for his family.
He’s the kind of man who would give you the shirt off his back… and if you know Denny, it wouldn’t be one he was ready to part with. It would probably be one of his favorite shirts.
He protects his people—not with loud words or a need for recognition, but with quiet strength, steadfast faith, and a heart that simply shows up every single day.
Our boys never had to wonder if they were loved. They knew. They watched a father who worked hard, laughed often, loved deeply, showed up for everything and taught them what a good honest man looks like simply by the way he lived.
Life hasn’t always been kind to us. We’ve walked through heartbreak, uncertainty, and seasons that felt impossible.
Yet through every mountain and every valley, Denny has remained my constant.
No matter how hard life becomes, when he walks into the room or stands beside me, I feel an incredible sense of peace. Not because he has all the answers, but because I know we’re going to face whatever comes… together.
He is my safe place.
He is my peace.
Thank you, Big D, for loving our boys so well, for loving me, and for reminding us every day that strength isn’t found in being the loudest person in the room… it’s found in quietly showing up for the people you love.
We are so incredibly blessed by you. 🤎
