Well-Read Books Located in beautiful downtown Waldport, along Highway 101. We specialize in second-hand and antique Masks are required for entry.

Building capacity is limited due to present Health guidelines. We are not presently able to buy or trade books. Book donations are accepted in small quantities, limited by processing requirements and space restrictions.

More hours of sunlight, and more hours at Well-Read Books! We are now open 11-5 on Wednesday through Monday (closed on Tuesday). Extra time to come in and browse our selection of fiction, science fiction/fantasy, mystery, Western, kids, nature...pretty much everything you can think of. Plus, we can do special orders, too!

Now that the sun has more hours, so do we. Our schedule is now 11-5 Monday through Sunday. That's an extra hour to come in and browse our selection for good evening (or daytime!) enjoyment.

It looks as if Winter is back. Time to think about curling up with a nice hot drink and a good book. We don't have the drinks, but we sure do have the good books! (And remember, books still work if the power goes out.)

Forget all the conflict and strife -
With a book you can find a new life.
A good story in your hand

It could be love, mystery, or outer space -
At least it will be a controlled place
Where you can decide on your own
To pick it up or put it down.
No one to tell you what to do,
The choice is always up to you.

Between the election turmoil and the weather now is definitely a good time to stock up on books. We have fact, fiction, fantasy, and fun, so come on in and escape.

Clocks have changed their hours and so have we. Well-Read Books is moving to our winter schedule today, which will be 11-4 seven days a week.

Between rufous hummingbirds, singing frogs, and the calendar, it looks as if it is time to end our winter hours and go back to our regular schedule, 10-5 Monday-Saturday, 11-4 Sunday. That means you now have extra hours to come in and check out our great supply of reading material of all kinds!
