Celebrate Freedom and Unity at the 7th Annual Charles County Juneteenth Open Air Festival!

WALDORF, MD — The Charles County Juneteenth Foundation proudly invites the community to its 2026 Juneteenth Celebration on Saturday, June 20, from 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM. This free and family-friendly event commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans and honors the rich heritage of the African American community in Charles County.
Festival Highlights:
• Live Performances: Voice 24/4 Band and DJ Smooth
• Historical Exhibits: Dive into the legacy of Juneteenth and explore the powerful contributions of African and Native Americans who shaped Charles County’s past and present.
• Family Fun & Adult Vibes: Kids will love the inflatables, crafts, and nostalgic games— while grown-ups can unwind in the “Adults Only” zone with spades, dominoes, premium ci**rs, and adult beverages.
• Delicious Food & Unique Vendors: Savor local flavors from an array of food trucks and discover one-of-a-kind crafts and goods from community vendors.
The Foundation is honored to welcome Maryland Governor Wes Moore, Charles County Commissioner President Reuben B. Collins II, and Charles County State’s Attorney Tony Covington as special guest speakers. Adding to the excitement, is Magic 102.3 on-air radio personality ASIA will serve as guest host and broadcast live from 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM.
This annual celebration is more than a festival - it is a joyful gathering that brings neighbors together to reflect, learn, and have fun. Come out and be part of a day that uplifts the spirit of
