Gorgeous Women's Army Corps (WAC) recruiting poster showing showing pin-up style artwork of beautiful WAC in front of U.S. flag. Statue of Liberty points at YOU in this rare WWI poster for Liberty Bonds! All sorts of persuasive "marketing" was done in the war effort to get Americans to support WWI efforts. The WWI Army Recruiting poster that everyone wants...and few collectors can have. This specimen I had about 10 years ago, still looking for another. Printed in San Francisco for use in recruiting stations there...super rare and spectacular. My guess maybe 30 specimens in existence today?

1896 Art Nouveau poster for "The True Mother Goose" by Blanche McManus. One of my favorites from my American poster collection, size 21"x14". While innovative poster artists in Europe were creating large splashy advertising posters in the 1890s, modern designers in the US were creating smaller, but no less inventive, posters for magazines and books primarily. This is one of the most famous and charming.
