The Wakefield Farmers Market is gearing up for an incredible 2026 season, and we’re looking for community members who want to be part of the magic behind the scenes!

From helping with set-up and break-down, assisting at our information tent, supporting special events, and lending a hand throughout the season, volunteers play a HUGE role in making the market such a welcoming and vibrant community space.

Whether you can volunteer once in a while or throughout the season, we would absolutely love to have you involved. It’s a great way to support local farms, small businesses, music, and community connection right here in Wakefield.

As we get closer to Opening Day on Saturday, June 13, we’re excited to continue highlighting the incredible local vendors joining us for the 2026 season at the Wakefield Farmers Market.

This week, we’re featuring Secret Stash Sweets, returning weekly to the market with handcrafted small-batch confections and homemade sweets customers look forward to year after year.

Owner Suzanne started her business from a lifelong love of creating memorable treats for family and friends, and today her booth has become a favorite stop for market goers of all ages. We shared more of Suzanne’s story, what inspires her business, and why the Wakefield Farmers Market means so much to her over on our blog.
