Drying out some sunflowers.

I'm taking pre-orders for sunflower coasters. The full amount of every sunflower coaster I sell will be donated to UNICEF, with designation to children in Ukraine. Fun fact: I'm one of those planner people.

I started buying and using planners in 2014. As a result, I began stockpiling scrapbook paper to make my own dividers and bookmarks. Soon I found myself with more paper than I knew what to do with. Well, paper piles, I found your new purpose: backgrounds and packaging. These are the papers I have deemed calm enough to use for photos. The rest are a little too crazy, so they'll be used for my packaging! Fun times.

I don't have new projects to post yet, so how about some older stuff?

1. I made a sushi hat for my dad for his birthday last year. This was so difficult for q first-time project that I didn't pick up a needle again for months.

2, 3, 4. I stitched this landscape and added it to a pendant. It was inspired by a photo (4) i took of the sunrise i witnessed one day as i was leaving for work.

5, 6. Inspired by a photo of a sunset i took as i was coming home from work on a different day.

7. A profile silhouette of Mulan in an attempt to make a cameo style pendant. At this stage is when i learned to use fabric stiffener liquid on my backing felt BEFORE I attach it to my work.
