The nursery industry unfortunately operates with a high use of plastics.

I wash and reuse as many pots as I can and tell people at the point of sale that I will take back the pots in an effort towards island recycling. I no longer use the small plastic identification tags and now just wirte on the pot. Often you'll see one of my plant pots with the variety name crossed off several times.

This year I am transitioning to biodegradable plant pots. 😀
