You've all been wanting to know and now here's your answer! The judge for our upcoming show "Down the Rabbit Hole" Juried Exhibition is a very fabulous local artist, Sylvia Sykes!
Sylvia's preferred medium is paint on a canvas and she is owner of SylviaPaints. Her missions is:
"To create art for human centered healing by shifting the focus away from devices or things and back to people. I try to create portraits that display just enough mystery or intrigue within the subjects that it prompts the viewer to reflect on their own essence, their connections to other people and the beauty of human creativity."

Sylvia will also be back at the gallery this coming September for her very own solo exhibition! So without further ado, we present to you "The Equinox", a reference to the Fall Equinox (Happening during the course of the exhibit on September 22) when there is a balance of equal night/day. All featured art will highlight balance in some way; in light, color, composition, subject matter or in a metaphorical way. This show opens on Sept. 16, 2022 and the reception will run from 4pm-9pm. Show will run through Oct. 22.
