💚💛🐻SUMMER NEWS!!!!!

A few things for today’s announcements…

💚1. Just Because Waco will be having a pop up shop on the evenings of Day 1 orientation. We are finalizing our location for this, so stay tuned. But we will make it later in the evening likely between 7-9 so you can visit us as you pick up your student from their day 1 orientation and after you have dinner. There are so many other great local businesses that you will have the opportunity to visit/learn about through Mama Bear and Becky Bernardes-DeGracia. Make sure you check out her events as well!

💛2. LINE CAMP SPIRIT BASKETS are still open for orders and I can only take a few more!

Order your incoming Bear a basket to be delivered to them at the beginning of Line Camp this summer to help them get in the spirit! Basket includes 4 homemade Banana crumb-chocolate chip and Blueberry crumb muffins for a quick breakfast some mornings, 1/2 dozen homemade (THESE ARE WACO FAMOUS!) chocolate chip cookies to help them through the week, a green and gold PomPom, 2 bottles of water, and a variety of sweet and salty snacks (nut free) to fuel them through camp.

Spirit Baskets will be hand-delivered to your student OFF campus the evening before or the morning that their Line Camp or Orientation session starts. I will contact you and your student via text to coordinate a time and meeting place to get your Spirit basket. I can also leave it for you at the hotel for your student to receive upon check in. 45$. First ever Cookie Cake in Spanish. We are proud of this one! Feliz Diane las Madres! And lots of happy Birthdays even though it’s during finals. It’s been a fun week seeing all of these smiles!

40 dozen cookies later….and finals study baskets are delivered!!! Whew! Thank you ALL! I didn’t get a lot of pictures of the kids this week- between the Canvas crash and studying it was tough to coordinate pics but we made it! Good luck to all of these awesome kids on their finals. I’m praying for them as they close this semester and start their summers. College is a hard stage. For kids and for their parents. So many transitions. Thank you for trusting me to bring smiles and love during these days. 💚💛

This week we have gotten to help a precious grandmother send a get well soon hug to her granddaughter….Flowers to Festival court members….condolence flowers to a family who had today goodbye way too soon…and lots of gold and pearls for some LUCKY girls in FOTB.
