Today, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to St. Jerome Catholic Church, Waco, Texas in Hewitt for their incredible generosity. Their recent garage sale donation filled both our truck and a van with items that will directly benefit families right here in our community. What a blessing! ❤️

Moments like this remind us that Things From The Heart Resale Shop is about so much more than a store. It's about neighbors helping neighbors, and a community coming together to make life a little easier for those facing difficult times.
As we look ahead, we're already preparing for two important opportunities to serve local children and families:

🎒 Back-to-School Season
This summer, we'll be providing backpacks and school supplies to children in need. If you'd like to help, donations of school supplies are greatly appreciated and will make a meaningful difference for local students.

🎄 Christmas Is Coming...
This year, Things From The Heart will also be helping provide toys for children during the Christmas season. Every donation helps us reach more families and bring a little extra joy to children who may otherwise go without. More details will be shared in the coming months.

We also understand the challenges many families are facing right now. Rising costs affect all of us, and we see those struggles every day. That's why we're committed to keeping our prices as affordable as possible. Our goal is simple: to help stretch household budgets while providing quality items that families can feel good about purchasing.

As summer moves quickly toward a new school year, many families in our community are already worrying about how they’ll afford the supplies their children need to succeed in the classroom.

That’s where our community can make a difference.

Things From The Heart is collecting school supplies to help provide local children with the tools they need to start the school year prepared, confident, and ready to learn.

We’re currently collecting:
🎒 Backpacks (clear backpacks are needed most)
📓 Notebooks & Composition Books
✏️ Pens & Pencils
🖍️ Crayons & Markers
📁 Folders & Binders
✂️ Scissors & Glue
🩹 Erasers & Highlighters
📚 And any other school supplies students can use this fall
