Tomorrow’s Halloween… but tonight is for the memories.
Your costume was ready. The candy bucket was waiting. You already knew which houses gave out the GOOD candy—and you were probably hoping nobody handed you an apple.
So on Halloween Eve, we have to ask:
What was the BEST thing to find in your trick-or-treat bag?
We have a feeling some of these answers will bring back a few memories!

Porch lights glowing. Homemade costumes. Neighbors you actually knew. Pillowcases getting heavier with every house.
Halloween felt magical when the whole neighborhood seemed part of it.
Maybe it wasn’t bigger or fancier back then. Maybe it was simply the feeling of being together that made it special.
What do YOU remember most about Halloween as a kid?

Remember when Halloween costumes started with whatever you could find at home?
A sheet became a ghost. A cardboard box became a robot. Mom’s sewing basket could turn you into almost anything—and somehow those homemade costumes became some of our favorite childhood memories.
They weren’t perfect. They weren’t expensive. But goodness, they were fun.
Did you ever make your own Halloween costume? What was your favorite?

Calling all dog people!
Big dogs, little dogs, fancy dogs, goofy dogs—we think life is simply better with them around.
Our shelves are always changing, and sometimes you’ll find the perfect little treasure that reminds you of a four-legged family member waiting for you at home.
Now we want to know: What kind of dog owns YOU?

A candle that smells good AND does good.
Wicks for Wags candles help support animal shelters and rescue organizations, making them a gift you can feel especially good about giving—or keeping for yourself.
Beautiful scents. Cozy candlelight. And a little help for animals waiting for their forever homes.
That’s the kind of simple joy we love at Rustic Rose.

Some things are more than just things.
An old photograph. Grandma’s quilt. Dad’s tools. A recipe written in someone’s handwriting. A little treasure that may not mean much to anyone else—but means everything to you.
Sometimes the value isn’t what something is worth. It’s who it reminds us of.
What is something you’ve kept because of the memories attached to it?

Now THIS is a conversation piece. 🇺🇸
Our patriotic bald eagle table lamp combines American pride with a piece of décor you definitely won’t find in every home. From the detailed eagle to the American flag accent, it has plenty of character.
Perfect for a home, office, man cave—or anyone who simply loves red, white, and blue.
Would you put this one in your home?
