Hello world. I am still involved in Rotary, now in AZ with the Dove Mountain club. I will be president beginning July 1, 2025. Amos and I are just coming off a 28 day cruise in Alaska. Good weather most of the time and great ports not usually visited.
Hope you are all well. We moved 4 years ago incase you weren’t aware.

An update on what is happening in my life and business. My husband and I will be moving to the mainland, AZ to be exact, once our house in Volcano, HI sells. You can contact me directly to continue to order or to just say "hello" - I have shut down the website but my Etsy store remains open at this time. I have a wonderful friend here in HI that will take over handling the color changing mugs, and of course you can contact me too. I will give you her contact info once I am ready to turn things over to her. The mugs will remain in the stores here on the Big Island and she will be expanding that part of the business too.
Our health is great, we are just ready for the next adventure after 19 fabulous years in Hawaii. We are getting older too :)
I wish everyone well and thank you so much for the interest in my business and posts especially through the 2018 eruption of Kilauea volcano. It was a year to end all years.

Hello - I flew again yesterday for the first in a while. I wanted to see how much larger the water has gotten in the Halemaumau crater that collapsed in 2018. It is now reported to be 2 football fields in length and 1 football field in width. The depth is 75 feet. It is growing but now an orangish yellowish color, not the pretty blue green I first saw. Temperature is believed to be 160 degrees F. Aloha, Charlene

A line of fissures in a row still steaming in Leilani Estates. The events of 2018 reshaped the lives of countless people down in this corner of the Big Island. It will be interesting to see what the future holds as the land is always changing.
