I always loved developing fun craft concepts and seeing them come to life—a skill I used to start my one-of-a-kind gift baskets business almost 20 years ago. My mom influenced my creativity. She would make her famous holiday treats and beautifully package them for family and friends. I was in awe of her innovation year after year.
My passion, however, was bath dessert products. Like most of my family, I suffered from dry, sensitive skin. I remember spending countless hours throughout the years trying to find great spa and beauty products. I loved anything food-related – peaches, vanilla, chocolate, cherry. Every discovery was wrapped and shared with loved ones. I learned from this process that many products that smell good are not great for my skin. They have many unknown chemicals. No one wants unknown ingredients on their body.
Then later in life, I got married, had my daughter, and guess what? She also suffered from dry and even more sensitive skin than me. I had to revive my mission to seek out bath products that were kind to our skin and made with natural ingredients.
