It’s been a long time since I’ve posted anything. Time to update what’s happening at TFA. My focus has changed on the training needs of people living in these uncertain times. I have been training security teams and church safety teams. This is a very time consuming adventure but I feel it’s also a necessity in today’s times. I miss the steel and tactical challenges but the interest in those were dropping off in numbers. Anyone who knows me knows trigger time is good. However I’ve also always said perfect practice brings perfect results , poor practice equally brings poor results. It’s a matter of simple common sense. If your not shooting well then it’s instruction you need not just burning powder. There’s a lot that goes into becoming proficient with a firearm. If you have a heart to serve others reach out to me. The need is great for sheep dogs.

I had the opportunity to do a Defensive pistol course Saturday August 3rd with a great bunch of guys. Midway through the training the story broke about the shooting in ElPaso. The culture in America has been backsliding for several years thus leading to the events we are faced with every day. When society is driven by Godless people we see mass shootings, assaults being perpetrated on citizens by people like Antifa, Satanic worshippers and groups of haters who think it’s cool to throw buckets of water on police officers. There are those of us who take the preservation of our lives and the innocent very seriously. I have not and would not condone the taking of an innocent life. However be advised you sickos running around. There are more responsible, armed and well trained individuals than you know. As for gun control and those who jump on that band wagon every time these shootings happen. Ask yourself why didn’t they happen 30-40 or 50 years ago? There is a gun problem. Not enough people armed and trained to deal with the society that’s been created by the evil that exists in the hearts of to many people these days. Get smart America. Get trained.

Ready for the defensive shotgun course this morning.

The weather is looking a might in cooperative for defensive shotgun course this Saturday and Sunday so I’ll be rescheduling it and posting the new date as soon as I get it figured out.

TFA will be hosting a Defensive Shotgun course June 22nd and 23rd. Load out is 250 lead shot(7-1/2), 5-00 buckshot, 5 slugs. Eye and ear protection required and a cap with a bill. Fee $75.00. Limited class size. Contact me to be added to the list. Training starts at 9:00 AM runs until 5:00 PM. Sunday 9:00 AM to completion.

On the range at 0530 and saw Mosquitos so big they had landing gear.

My sincere apologies for not getting a schedule posted as of yet. Been doing a lot of range improvements this spring. Also the weather has been a bit challenging thus far. Still leaning towards dropping the steel challenges has attendance was down last year making it difficult to justify them. I will be scheduling Tactical Challenges as they are better received and attendance was good. Thank you for your patience Patrick.
