As of July 1, 2021 Landis Building Service & Recycling, LLC is being turned over to Mark Mesiano. He will be operating as Landis Window and Door, LLC. The operating and mailing address will remain the same at 5093 Landis Ave., Vineland, NJ. The phone number will stay at 856-691-9343 and the fax number will also remain the same at 856-794-1722.

It has been a pleasure doing business with you over the past 50+ years in operation and Mark ( who has been with us for 40 of those years) will continue where we left off.
This is really just a change in ownership as Nancy Sherwood and LeeAnn Rohs are stepping down.

The 2 businesses will operate simultaneously, as one phases out and the other ramps up.

For those interested in a little more science, this is a follow-up to our post on window condensation.

If this is your first winter with new windows, you may be wondering why you didn't see exterior condensation on your old windows.

Older, less energy-efficient windows allowed warmth from inside to reach the outside glass. This would warm the exterior glass and then dissipate the moisture on it.

Noticing condensation on new windows? Don't worry, it's a natural occurrence in colder temperatures!

Here's some science for your Sunday:
The higher the humidity percentage inside the home, the quicker a cooler surface will begin to condensate. Air temperature, combined with humidity level, defines the temperature at which condensation will form. This is called the dew point temperature.

If condensation is forming, then the humidity percentage must be reduced so the resulting dew point temperature is below the temperature of the cooler surfaces.
