There are some events that just mean a little more. 🩷

A few years ago, I had the honor of designing the flowers for this sweet bride’s wedding day. Today, me and my team got to create the flowers for her baby shower.

Talk about a full-circle moment. 🥹

One of my favorite parts of this job isn’t just the flowers—it’s getting to walk alongside people through some of life’s biggest milestones. From “I do” to welcoming a precious new baby, it is such an honor to be trusted with these special moments.

To this beautiful mama-to-be, thank you for letting me be a small part of your story once again. Watching your journey has been such a blessing.

✨ BIG NEWS FROM THE FLOWER BASKET ✨

We are SO close to our BIG move, and we are excited to finally share our new home with you!

📍 New Address:
11950 Industriplex Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA

Our current location has been packed up, organized, and prepared for the move. Now we’re just waiting on contractors to finish the final touches on our new home. We are truly hoping to get the green light next weekend! 🤞

Over the past several months, we have worked hard to create more than just a flower shop. Our new space was designed to be a place where you can stop in and grab fresh flowers, find the perfect gift for almost any occasion, and experience something very special to our hearts.

We have created a dedicated Christian reflection space for families who are navigating the loss of a loved one. Whether you’re selecting cemetery flowers, planning a tribute, or simply need a quiet place to sit and reflect on the impact someone had on your life, we wanted to provide a peaceful and comforting environment just for you.

📣 Important Update from The Flower Basket 🌸

As we get closer to moving into our beautiful new shop, we’ll be making a small change to our hours.

Beginning this week, our storefront will be CLOSED on Saturdays until we officially reopen in our new location.

💐 Good news! We will still be delivering flowers on Saturdays. Our storefront will simply be closed while we focus on packing, organizing, and getting everything ready for our exciting move.

We’re still here Monday through Friday for all of your floral and gift needs, and Saturday deliveries will continue as usual!

Thank you for your patience, support, and excitement during this transition. We truly couldn’t do this without our amazing customers. We can’t wait to welcome you into our new home and share everything we’ve been working on!

When we purchased The Flower Basket, I honestly didn’t know much about flowers. Fast forward to today, and we’re creating wedding florals almost every weekend. 💐

I’ve been blessed to learn from some incredibly talented people along the way, but a lot of what I do has come from countless hours of teaching myself, practicing, and never being afraid to try something new.

Weddings have become my creative outlet. Every bride has her own vision, and bringing that vision to life is something I’ll never take for granted. My absolute favorite moment is seeing a bride’s face when she holds her bouquet for the very first time. That reaction makes every early morning and late night worth it.

I’m completely obsessed with both of the weddings we had this weekend, and I’m so thankful that our brides trusted us to be a small part of such a special day.
