Your thoughts….
I believe that psychology plays a huge part in how we fish. From jig color to your fishing spot, we make these choices based on what has happened in the past. Do you think that the reason you catch most of your fish on a particular color is because you start with that color just about every trip. Is it possible that the fish are biting other colors just as well but you have not tried that color. Before I get bashed, I know that sunlight/cloud cover and water clarity can have a huge impact on what color works better than other colors. But I believe that you have to have confidence in the color you choose to start your day off ( doesn’t mean you can’t change colors if it’s not working) and have confidence in the fishing spot you pick. There have been times when the fish would hit about anything that you put in front of them. There have been days one particular color is all that seems to work and then the very next day you can’t get a bite on that color but yet there is no difference in the weather, cloud cover, winds etc.
