Some of you may know that the City of Victor is hosting its annual Victor Celebrates the Arts this coming August 30 to September 1. For those who have never heard of this wonderful event, the VCTA committee invites artists near and far to come to Victor and render gorgeous paintings "en plein air," meaning outside and onsite. Each year, we enjoy meeting artists from around the country who come here to soak up our local history and participate in this event.
During the weekend's festivities, patrons and guests will be able to view the finished works at the historic Victor Elks Lodge and even purchase original paintings. It's a grand nod to our local history and the beautiful scenery around us!, And, we would like to let you in on a secret: The artists actually begin their work right around now. They can be spotted anywhere within a 10 mile radius of Victor, which includes our city and area. For a full events schedule, here is the website: https://www.victorcelebratesthearts.org/
