This weekend is our local fiber festival, ! Hope you will join us! It’s Friday 9am-5pm and Saturday 9am-4pm at the Vicksburg Convention Center. We have lots of wonderful yarn and fiber vendors and 2 full day of classes. Check out the website for more details at fiberfuninthesip.com.

Huge sale tomorrow for our Christmas in July sale! Come see us from 10am-3pm! We will have homemade ice cream! Yum!! The air conditioner will be on full blast! We have door prizes also for everyone that comes by.

This Saturday is Christmas in July! We have been working this week getting our fabric out of storage and marking yarn down. We will be open from 10am-3pm. We have lots of colors of polyester Minky that will sale for $10yd for a 60”x 36” piece. We have upholstery fabric and much more that we are moving out.

We will have homemade ice cream and refreshments so come stay a while out of the heat. It’s going to be a fun day!

What do you do if you are knitting and power goes out? Just light those candles and keeping knitting! Everyone stay safe and dry tonight and by all means KEEP KNITTING!! Oh by the way, I’m using my JEMS LUXE FIBERS DK Minis from 2 years of advents making my grandson a blanket to take to college in September!

I am preparing for a mission trip to Orizaba, Mexico on June 18-24, 2024. I will be traveling with members of my church, Crossway Church. In Mexico I will be teaching ladies how to knit. They can use these skills to make items to sell. With the knowledgeable of this wonderful craft they will be able to provide support for their families. Money collected will be used to purchase knitting needles, yarn and other notions. I have included the link below where you can donate.
If you are local and would like to donate yarn and knitting needles, you may drop off at our shop located at 1370 Culkin Road.

Hello again from Agape Knits in Vicksburg, MS. We just want to let all of our Sit and Knit friends know that we are not going to able to gather this week or next. Judy and Emily, dyers of our in-house yarn company, Jems Luxe Fibers is just back from 3 weeks of shows and will be busy dyeing yarn for the Kentucky Sheep and Fiber Festival show next week. Margy has her California family coming in next week. We will update you when we have the next Sit and Knit scheduled. The store is open if anyone has an uncontrollable yearning for new yarn!

Oh my gosh! Look what Judy and Emily have left at the Agape Knits shop while they are away! Classic Dk Minis and a variety of different color ways in various yarn bases! Come and see us! We will be open today and Thursday 11-2pm. Next week Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 11-2pm. If you are in town and have a yarn emergency just contact Judy and we will make it happen! Agape Knits will have special hours starting Tuesday April 23. We will be open Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 11am-2pm. Judy and Emily will be out of town for 3 weeks so Margy will come and open for all of you who desperately need some yarn. We have a beautiful variety in stock.
