Reintroducing you to Andy , one of the owners of Worldwide Printing and definitely more of a behind-the-scenes guy.
While TJ is usually out front working with customers and representing the company and probably enjoying the attention a little more than Andy would 😂 Andy focuses on the financial side of the business, technology, IT, web design and development, and building better systems and integrations.
Andy has been around the business for most of his life, starting with the early Southern Tier Athletics days, then helping start Worldwide Sport Supply with TJ, and eventually becoming Worldwide Printing. He has officially worked full-time with the company for more than 31 years. Growing up in the family business and doing nearly every job imaginable over the past three decades has given him valuable insight into how everything works and how the company can continue to improve.
That experience has also taken Andy through some pretty different roles. He spent about 10 years as a graphic designer, creating artwork for customers and designing 8–10 catalogs every year, many of which were more than 100 pages long. Some projects even meant pulling multiple all-nighters to meet press deadlines.
Today, Andy especially enjoys business strategy, solving problems, and finding better ways to do things. He likes taking something complicated or inefficient and creating a process that drastically reduces or completely automates routine, time-consuming tasks. Ultimately, his goal is to help the team work more efficiently while giving customers the best possible experience.
And of course, a must-know about Andy: if he has the aux on a long road trip to a merch event, you’re listening to Neil Diamond. Specifically, “Cherry, Cherry.”
