A little bit about myself and what I offer at The Bamboo Bungalow…
- I’m Kristen! I’m a proud single momma to my daughter Addie. I grew up In Vero Beach, graduated from FAU, dabbled in Real Estate in Boca Raton and Boston. Ocean and plant lover.
-I’m a 5th generation Floridian! My family came here from Oslo, Norway to grow pineapples and were one of the 1st pioneering families in Vero Beach. So I guess you can say I truly know Old Florida Vintage! Growing up, my mom always decorated with fabulous rattan pieces and dragged me around to all the antique stores!
-Since I was little I enjoyed rearranging rooms and decorating. I never thought it would turn into something like this! I’m very passionate about finding the best pieces and I’m obsessed with faux bamboo. I’m treasure hunting nearly everyday!
- The Bamboo Bungalow offers a mix of Chinoiserie, Grandmillinnial, boho and coastal. I leave the vintage pieces in original condition until YOU choose the color. You can choose from many paint brands and sheen options. The most popular is Benjamin Moore high gloss. I also have chalk paint options.
- I have a booth at Wildwood Antique Mall in Vero Beach & most of my larger pieces ready for customization are in a warehouse that can be seen by appointment.
- 🚛 I ship primarily along the east coast and central US. I will arrange the shipping details so don’t stress! $200-$350 typically.
-I work with many interior designers and other businesses around the country. I give bulk discounts for regular clients.
