Hi Racers,
Hope you all are having a great time this summer, we sure are. We have been traveling all over the state learning about Florida. Sold the track and it is to be picked up this week. I believe I have all the track pieces I need, what a job finding track in any quantity. I lucked out and found a vendor that has a large selection of track!. If it wasn't for bad luck, I would have missed out on a lot of pain (LOL). I have had a kidney stone pass, back went out and gout in my right ankle!!!!! Getting old is great but sometimes, not so great. Pictured below are the first 3 Porches (IROC) from ScaleAuto. There will be a total of 12 cars and limited to only 300 each! These are going to sell out, buy them now and the other 9 come 3 cars a quarter for a total of 12 cars. These will easily resell for $200/$300
each easily or more, after they are sold out (see photo below). My old track will be up and running very soon and my new Track (The Mean Green Mile) will be ready as soon as I possibly can (End of Year)! Take care and hope to see you all soon.

Race Event Recap June 18, 2026

We had 12 entries for this event and the racing was fierce as usual. Welcome back Anthony and Mike. Also welcome, new comers Mike and Sue for stopping by and taking part in the racing action.

C-Class - Mag
We had 8 entries for this class. This race could of went many different ways as the race results will show how close it was. John held the lead from the start. Mike was close, but Mario was closer to Mike! They had a battle swapping laps and positions many times. Anthony was right there on Mario's bumper waiting for Mario to make a slip. While Anthony was busy with Mario, Mark was right on Anthony's bumper, matching lap for lap. Did I say this race could of went many different ways? Julie and Nathan (currently married) had a battle with Julie edging out Nathan by one lap on the green lane. Way to go Julie! Mike (first time visitor), finished the field.

C-Class - Non
We had 6 entries for this class. Another great race. John and I matched laps on the red and blue lanes. John edged me out on the yellow and green lanes. Have to stay in the groove to win! Surprise of the night was Holli, taking 3rd position! Holli matched me lap for lap on the yellow and red lanes. She matched John on the red lane. I was able to edge Holli out on the green lane by 1 lap and 3 laps on the blue lane. Blue lane can bite you! Very impressive Holli, for your 3rd place finish in this class! Van, Greg and Mario had an awesome race also. Swapping positions many times through out the race, oh so close!

Vintage Nascar - Mag
We had 6 entries for this class. Everyone in one of their heat races matched each other for laps and then pulled a lap or 2 ahead!, Lots of action, crash's, off track excursions and I think a few paid to crash services where performed! LOL! The laps got spread out a little as the race went on.

Vintage Nascar - Non
We had 7 entries for this class. John, Van and I had a battle. Matching each other for laps on the green and blue lanes. John and I edged out Van on the yellow lane and John edged me out by 1 lap on the red lane. Mario was giving Van all he wanted just waiting to take advantage of a slip! Nathan, Greg and Holli had a great race. Matching laps and swapping positions throughout the race. One slip, and the positions changed. Great racing!

IROC - Mag
We had 7 entries for this class. Matched cars and controllers. Drivers are the variable! Check out the laps!

Race Recap June 11, 2026

Another great event with 10 racers entered. Snowbirds have gone back north and racer entries are down , but we have more pit room now! LOL! When you review the laps, you will see how close some of these races where. In Vintage Nascar 1st, 2nd and 3rd finished on the same lap! Lots of action.

Vintage Nascar - Mag
We had 4 entries for this class. John and Mario took off and battled the whole race. John went down two laps to Mario on the yellow lane. John gained a lap back on the red lane. Matched laps on the green lane. The blue lane John took the lead by taking Mario by 2 laps. Swapping positions, crashing and swapping paint to the checkered. Julie and Jimi ran a hard race, matching each other lap for lap on the yellow lane. On the red and green lanes they both swapped leads. On the blue lane Julie was able to edge out Jimi by 1 lap. Great race.

Vintage Nascar - Non
We had 7 entries for this class. Wow, what a race, so close with a three way tie! John Gary and I broke off from the pack and battle we did. Gary took the lead on the yellow lane. Then John came back on the red lane. I finally tied everything up on the green lane. Blue lane we matched each other lap for lap. I got picked on a little as not to mention the guilty one (Gary), who took me out twice in the same heat. It was very competitive racing and I should of known better than to try and pass that Dodge on the outside, LOL! Nathan, Mario, Holli and Greg. Nathan and Mario matched each other lap for lap on the yellow and blue lanes. Nathan edged out Mario by 1 lap each on the red and green lanes. Holli and Greg where battling hard matching laps on the yellow and red lanes. Holli edged out Greg on the green and blue lanes. Swapping paint and off track excursions where plenty.

C-Class - Mag
We had 6 entries for this class. John and Mario went at it hard, swapping laps many times. John was able to edge out Mario on the yellow lane by 2 laps. Nathan and Jimi raced hard with Jimi taking Nathan by a lap on the yellow lane and matching laps on the red lane. Nathan was able to edge out Jimi on the green and blue lanes. Julie was right on Jimi's bumper ready to take his position at any time. Pepsi Kid finished the race making sure everyone made it to the checkered! Lots of paint swapping and crash's.

C-Class - Non
We had 5 entries for this class. Such close racing again. John, Gary and I matched lap for lap on the yellow and blue lanes. John and I edged out Gary on the red lane. John and Gary edged me out on the green lane. Gary and I tied for laps, with Gary having the edge. Greg and Holli had a great battle. Greg and Holli matched each other lap for lap on the red and blue lanes. Greg edged out Holi on the green and yellow lanes. Holli had some sight seeing adventures on the yellow lane. Lots of fast racing action.

IROC - Mag
We had 10 entries for this class. Lots of close racing, just look at the results. Matched cars and controllers, only difference is the driver!

Hi Racers,

Back after a well deserved vacation, National Scaleauto event, the SnowBirds are gone and now back to our regular group. We had 10 racers register for this week's event and it was action packed. Lots of close racing as usual with some off track excursions.

Nascar - Mag
We had 3 entries for this class. Butch hung with John on the yellow and green lanes. John was able to edge out Butch by one lap on the Blue lane and then Butch had some issues on the red lane and could not make up the laps. Jimi ran a consistent 16 laps each heat.

Nascar - Mag
1st - John - 73 Laps
2nd - Butch - 68 Laps
3rd - Jimi - 64 Laps

Nascar - Non
We had 6 entries for this class. What a race it was, lots of swapping positions and door banging. John, Gary and I swapped positions many times with Gary and I tying for 2nd and John taking the win. Nathan, Julie and Greg had a great battle going on. They also swapped positions many times during the race. Swapping paint and a few crashes. Matching each other lap for lap on the red lane. Nathan was able to edge out Holli and Greg on the Blue lane.

C-Class - Mag
We had 5 entries for this class. At the drop of the flag, John took off and ran away with the race. Nathan and Jimi had a great battle going on. Jimi took Nathan by one lap on the yellow lane. Nathan matched Jimi lap for lap on the red lane and took Jimi by one lap on the blue lane and 2 laps on the green lane. Pepsi Kid and Julie had a great race also going on. Pepsi Kid got Julie by one lap each on the yellow and red lanes and then Julie said enough of this and beat Pepsi Kid by 1 lap on the green lane and matched Pepsi Kid on the blue lane. Well done Julie!

C-Class - Mag
1st - John - 92 Laps
2nd - Nathan - 79 Laps
3rd - Jimi - 77 Laps
4th - Pepsi Kid - 70 Laps
5th - Julie - 69 Laps

C-Class - Non
We had 5 entries for this class. What a race with a couple of big crashes. John, Gary and I swapped positions many times, Matching each other lap for lap or swapping laps. Traded a little paint at times! Any of us could have won this race, one little off and you were down! Greg and Holli battled with Holli matching Greg lap for lap on the red lane. While Greg held Holli off on the yellow, green and blue lanes, Hollie was pushing hard. One crash on the back stretch involved me hitting a de-slotted car at full speed! Fortunately no damage, just a loud crash. Second crash involved me also. Three of us were coming out of the S's on the short shute before the long front straight and I believe I was in the middle and all 3 of us crashed with me pushing through the middle and I stayed in the slot while the other 2 deslotted. Do not know what happened as we were side by side and going for it. I won by about 10ft! What a race.

C-Class - Non

IROC - Mag
We had 7 entries for this class. Club cars stay in the same lane with drivers rotating. Equal cars and controllers (Defalco), counting full laps only, comes down to the driver. Racing so close with lots of off track excursions and paint swapping. Many positions were not determined until the checkered was thrown.

Hi Racers,
WOW, what a time we had. Fast, Furious and a true test of human durability. Little sleep and all you can handle and then some to keep you busy. So many friends to see again, share stories, racing and so much laughter and fun! Do not have the complete stats, but what I do have I will share below.

Listed below is where we each finished in our groups. Groups were based on qualifying times and split off into groups of 8. Two groups had a few less than 8.

3rd Place - Mario

2nd Place - John

They have not posted the results for Van and I.

Overall finishing positions as follows:

43rd - John - 186 laps
46th - Bob - 183 laps
48th - Van - 182 laps
74th - Mario - 164 laps

This was out of 91 registered racers. We all gained alot and will improve for the next adventure. Well done Boys! Best of all we all made TECH! One person we will not name was pushing the limits and Billy Bob had to come to his rescue! LOL!!!!

Hi Racers,
Another great event with 13 registered racers, that was full of action, on the track and off the track. Billy Bob was having a bad night and everyone knew it. I think Pepsi Dave slipped Billy Bob a Pepsi and then Billy Bob was out of control. New Racer - Preston paid us a visit - Welcome and hope to see ya again.

Trans Am - Mag
We had 7 entries for this class. What a battle it was. Chris was back and he was prepared to race. John jumped out to an early lead with Mario in tow. John took Mario by 2 laps on the yellow lane. On the red lane, Mario took a lap back and matched John lap for lap on the green and blue lanes. Chris, Mark and Jimi had such a close race. They swapped positions many times in the group and battled hard with some off track sightseeing tours! At the checkered, Chris was leading his pack. Nathan and Julie were battling (Husband/Wife) with Nathan deciding to sleep on the couch that night! LOL!

Trans Am - A Main
1st - John - 65 Laps
2nd - Mario - 64 Laps
3rd - Chris - 62 Laps - Rookie - Well Done!

Trans-Am - B Main

We had 6 entrie for this class. Lots of side by side, crashes and position changes.
Gary jumped to an early lead with Van in tow. They swapped positions every other heat and when it came to the checkered flag, Van edged out Gary. John gave Van and Gary all they wanted with me right there swapping positions with John every other heat. Just like Van and Gary. Nathan and Jimi did the same thing, swapped positions every other heat. It was an awesome race to watch. Great race guys!

We had 10 entries for this class. What a race it was. Everyone was here to race hard and they did. Gary, John and I hit it hard right out of the gate. It was a battle with so many lead changes and 2 off's by me, it cost me the race! Got to stay in the groove to win the race!!!!! Butch rounded out the GT1 class. Van, Nathan, Jimi, Mario, Mark and Chris (GT2 class), Had so much action going on. Van led the pack with Nathan, Jimi, Mario, Mark and Chris Hammering it out and they did a great job. Matching laps for laps and swapping laps throughout the heats. Another great race to watch. If you have not raced Revo Slots, they are some of the most fun cars to race, so good right out of the box with little tuning.

Hi Racers,
Another great night of racing at Gulf Coast Speedway. We had 13 entries that came to race and boy did they. Close competitive racing with so many ties. Good to have Chris with us again and now we have a couple of lady's racing with us on a regular basis, Holli and Julie. What a group of racers to race with, just alot of fun!

Trans Am - Mag
We had 8 entries for this class. John jumped out to an early lead with Greg and Mark in tow. Greg was able to beat John on the Green lane. Mark was holding his own, hanging right with Greg, and with Chris banging on his rear bumper. Holli, Jimi and Butch all turned the same number of laps. Julie was right in the thick of it, matching Holli, Jimi and Butch lap for lap on the Blue lane. Well done. This was a great race to watch with so many battles going on.

We had 9 entries for this class. Oh what a race, 3 groups of racers tying for laps. Van, Gary, John and I all matched laps on the Blue lane. On the other lanes we swapped positions several times, banging on bumpers, swapping paint and just a few sightseeing tours. From 5th position to 9th (Greg, Nathan, Butch, Jimi, Holli), these guys and gals were going at. So many position swaps throughout the race. Banging and crashing their way to the finish line. Another great race to watch!

We had 11 entries for this class. I keep saying it, but just some plain good old fashion racing with fierce competition. AWESOME RACING!!!!!! I needed to do some work to my car as it had 2 bent axles and 3 bent wheels! I needed all I could muster to keep these guys behind me, I managed to pull a consistent 10 Laps on each lane. Gary matched me lap for lap on the yellow, red and blue lanes. Gary lost a lap on the green lane. While Gary and I were battling, John was right there hammering on Gary's rear bumper. Butch was giving John all he wanted while Van and Nathan were right there to take his position at any given time. Butch, Van and Nathan tied for laps. Jimi and Greg tied for laps also. Mark, Holli and Chris had a great battle at the rear of the pack. They were going at it hard resulting in a few crashes! Well done!

We had 13 entries for this class. So many ties (7)! Billy Bob tuned cars, matched cars that stay with the lane and every driver gets to drive each car once! Makes for some awesome racing. I believe every racer swapped positions at least once during the race and some swapped positions several times. Lots of crashes and off track sightseeing tours.
