So many times in life circumstances end up changing from what we thought they were going to be to the reality of what they are. I started baking sourdough and selling it under the name Buckleberry Bakery, but as circumstances changed, I decided to go with a name that better fit me as the baker...so from now on the Sourdough, you have all come to know and love, will be sold under the name WildRise Bakery.

Okay New Bern Farmer's Market, we will be back tomorrow with our classic, garlic parmesan, olive rosemary, jalapeno cheddar, cinnamon, pumpkin, and everything but the bagel. We will also have Buckleberry pie, amazing pizza crusts, flight boxes, and butter seasoning. Make sure to come see us, say "hi" and get your favorite.

Good afternoon sourdough lovers!
We want to clear up some confusion about the pre-order site we have. We started the site as a convenient way for you to make sure you get your favorite sourdough, as we do sell out and some have not been able to get theirs. It is not mandatory that you use the site, we of course will still have our bread available to be bought on site.
The site is set up to take pre-orders 3 days in advance to the date of the market which you want to pick up at. You must order 3 days in advance or the site will make your pick up date for the following week. We understand that sometimes this can be inconvenient and we are willing to make adjustments for that.
As of right now, our mini loaves, croutons, and sundried tomato w/mozzarella ,however, are pre-order only, so they must be ordered 3 days in advance.
Lastly, the site gives you 2 options when you order. You must either choose the New Bern Farmer's Market or the Fairfield Harbour Farmers Market so you are guarenteed to get your order.
We hope this clears things up but if you have any questions definitely feel free to message us.

Hello sourdough lovers! We will not be at the Fairfield Harbour Farmers Market on Wednesday the 3rd, nor will we be at the New Bern Farmer's Market on Saturday the 6th - our baker is spending time with family and taking a much deserved break.
We will be back on Wednesday the 10th at Fairfield Harbour and the 13th at New Bern, you can go to our site and preorder your favorites. buckleberry-bakery.square.site

Good morning on this cool and glorious morning.
Thank you to all those who came to the New Bern Farmer's Market and supported us and all the amazing vendors, we appreciate everyone.
We received so many amazing compliments yesterday; we are feeling blessed and thankful to be on this journey. "Best we've ever had", "your sourdough is amazing", "my friend called me and said you have got to go the market to get the sourdough", and to the couple who traveled over an hour just to get the sourdough, that means more than you know.
We tell you these wonderful things not to brag or boast. Yes we are selling but that's not why this journey began. It's began from one woman's love of sourdough and the knead to spread that love. Her dream is that family and friends will come together and break bread.

Hello sourdough lovers! Hope you are having a wonderful Friday.
It's that time of the week again - time to stock up on your sourdough!

We will be at the New Bern Farmer's Market from 8 to 2pm.
Available products this week:
classic sourdough
everything but the bagel
cinnamon
jalapeno cheddar
pumpkin
olive rosemary (limited supply)
We will also have our Buckleberry pie, our amazing sourdough pizza crust, and another round of garlic parmesan croutons.

We will also have a new product available. We cannot offer the actual butter but we can offer the seasoning to go into your butter. Making it's debut this week will be Maple Butter Seasoning. Just add the packet to a softened stick of butter and you have an amazing topping for your pumpkin or whatever flavor sourdough you put it on. More flavors to come!

It's a holiday weekend so be careful out there.
