My name is Eric Chaz (short for Czechanski). Please let me tell you a little about myself and my business. I am blessed to be inspired by my beautiful wife Jennifer, and my two kids Emily and Brayden. They seem to tolerate my 13 hour day, six days a week schedule. Repairing guitars and basses went hand in hand with learning how to play when I was 12 years old. I immediately took my first guitar ap

art and modified it. In 1987 I started working for a guitar company assembling and setting up guitars. From there I was employed by a small guitar repair shop where I started to develop my skills as a repair man and builder. It was here I secured my business license in 1990 and left to open a shop of my own in 1994 called Eric's Guitar Shop, Inc. We focus exclusively on repairing, modifying and building custom guitars. I have been in the same location ever since and business has gone through the roof. We are not a music retailer, but we do carry a full line of products that relate to the services we offer. In stock are pickups, hardware, and strings by almost all manufacturers. Our mission statement is simple: Strive to offer the highest quality service and components for a fair rate and turnaround time. It sounds very basic, but after all, that is exactly what our customers want. Eric's Guitar Shop, Inc. survives almost solely from word of mouth and repeat business. Therefore I know how essential it is for myself and crew to be as curtious and professional as possible. We love our clients. Aki, Frank and myself are so fortunate to have such a loyal customer base that keeps us busy every day. If you come in for a free consultation, you will have all of my personal attention. We will discuss and check everything you are concerned about on your instrument and come up with solutions that fit your budget. We will never pressure any of our clients or recommend any work that is not necessary. We are very reliable and always answer the phone between 10am to 6pm Monday thru Friday, and 11am to 5pm Saturday. In addition to a high level of standards in craftsmanship, this is what I mean when I state "Quality of Service" in our mission statement. We are here!! Fully moved in to our new location in the Sound City Center. I can't believe it has already been a month and a half we've been doing business here. It goes by so fast. When visiting us, please pull inside the building and park on the roof. We are at the bottom of the stairs. You can't miss us.

Hey everyone. We have been working very hard on the new Eric's Guitar Shop. It looks like we will be open officially at the new location Thursday September 17th. The new address is 15452 Cabrito Rd. Suite 102 Van Nuys, CA 91406. Located in the Sound City Center. We will be doing business as usual this week at the Orion address. Next Monday thru Wednesday will be the serious lifting days. I will post a lot (for me) from now untill then. Thank you all for your support and see you soon.

Big news for Eric's Guitar Shop. After 27 years of fixing guitars here on Orion ave., we are moving the shop. Our new location will be just a 1/2 block east of where we are now located in the Sound City Studio Complex (15456 Cabrito Rd). After spending a few month working out the details with Sound City owner Sandy Skeeter, we are a go!! I can't begin to express how excited I am for this positive change. Well over due. The next 2 months will be spent building out the new location to perfectly suite our needs. Jason Sweeny of JMS Designs has designed the new shop layout and it looks great. Our projected start date will be October 1st 2015. Up until then, we will be business as usual here on Orion. My plan for the next two months is to post pictures of the new shop transformation and updates on the progress. I'm looking forward to sharing with you the progress of our transformation.
