Well, the time has come. I am in the final pages of this chapter of my life; closing The Koze Pantry. Over the years I usually thank "my family and friends", but I want to single out those people personally, and let them know just what they mean to me 🫶

Matt and Nathan, you two are the most important people to me. You have loved me, and supported my business this entire time, even when things got hard. I'm so happy to start a new chapter together.

Katie, you have been the best part of this journey. You helped in every way possible, and never asked for anything in return.

Sarah and Samii & David, you were my earliest customers. You supported me in ways I could never imagine, and you were always ready to listen and help.

Rachel, I couldn't ask for a better person to help me on this journey. I never felt like I was meant to have a business, and your guidance was invaluable. I would not have continued without you!

Cassie, you have the biggest heart! I had so many ideas, and most were probably crazy ramblings, but you ALWAYS knew just what I needed.

Allie, you, along with Nancy, have become a staple at my events over the last year. I appreciate the two of you consistently showing up for my business.

Megan, you are my sweetest friend, quite literally. Having a friend that lives across the street and loves baking as much as me is a dream come true!

I am wrapping things up behind the scenes, but as of right now someone is buying all remaining products. If things change I will update this post. This page will disappear as soon as all remaining items have been sold.

Lastly, to those STILL asking or suggesting. I AM NOT RETURNING. I'm sorry, but I'm tired of that question or suggestion. I'm not taking a break. I'm not waiting for "things to get better". This business went on longer than it needed to, all because of one comment made about me. Finally I get to do what I want, and not what others expect of me. My husband and I are happy with our life, just the way it is ✌️

This coming weekend is my FINAL event at Rockwood Summit! Saturday is 10-4 and Sunday is 10-3. This is the last chance to shop my stock. Hopefully next week I will be officially closed.

To make things easier at the event, nothing will be on the website. This helps avoid anyone ordering while I'm at the event. All items will be removed on Friday evening! Hope to see everyone this weekend 🫶

Don't forget that this Saturday is the last day to order any freeze dried sweets and confections on the website! I will be at Sacred Heart Valley Park Saturday evening where ALL freeze dried products will be $5 and 16 oz drinking glasses will be $12 😯

Things are progressing a little quicker this month and I potentially have a buyer for all remaining stock. That would mean that right after Rockwood Summit I would officially be closed. I'll keep everyone updated as much as possible! 🫶

The closing continues! All freeze dried products will permanently be removed from the website on Nov 7th. They will only be available for purchase at Sacred Heart Valley Park and Rockwood Summit. Those are my last two events of the year and then I will be wrapping up the closure. 🎉

In an effort to speed up the closing I have started discounting orders on the website. Right now all orders will be 30% off!*

*The discount is automatic. There is no minimum order amount. It does not include shipping/delivery. It does not include Mini Cookie Packs.

I also want to clarify some questions/comments I've gotten since announcing my closing.

I am not closing to move on to a new business. This isn't a whim that I will back track. I have loved having a business, but I think I let it go on for longer than it needed to. It has served it's purpose and I'm happy to be done. As for what's next... nothing. Nothing is next! I'm looking forward to slowing down and having more time to check in with friends at a new coffee shop, or baking with my neighbor, focusing on Nathan, and just enjoying my life a whole lot more.

I will forever be grateful to those that have supported me, for the customers that became friends, and all of my creations that are out in the world. 🫶

I may be closing, but I still enjoy trying new coffee places! I ended up trying Qahwatea TWICE last week.

My sister and I went and shared a small pot of Jubbani, which was a little too spicy for me, but my sister loved it. I ended up with a vanilla latte (my go to) and a Nutella croissant. Both were really good. We also split a mango mousse cake. That was my favorite, but the white chocolate shell was a tiny bit thick.

I went back a few days later to meet up with my friend David. He tried the honeycomb bread and tiramisu, enjoying both.

It was really clean, bright, and welcoming there. It's a huge space, but both times there were steady streams of customers. Overall I really enjoyed it, even if the traditional Yemeni coffee isn't for me.

Yesterday I wanted a cake, so I baked a cake. I ended up posting it on Threads where it went a little crazy 😍
