Who doesn’t love a shrub that prolifically blooms through the heat of summer!? Butterfly bush does just that!

Currently, I have 3 amazing varieties that just started blooming and are looking fantastic!

Miss Violet is a mid-sized variety growing 4-5’ tall and wide. It has beautiful purple flowers

Blue Chip Jr. is a miniature variety growing only 1.5-2.5’ tall and wide. Like Miss Violet, this variety also has purple flowers

Pink Micro Chip is another miniature variety reaching just 1.5-2’ tall and wide. This one has a stunning pink color.

Butterfly bushes should be grown in full sun and well-draining soil.

I still have lots of lemon grass if you are looking for something to help keep those pesky mosquitoes away!

I also have some nice perennials in 4 inch pots for only $4 each. Hollyhocks, sedum, blue star creeper, lady’s mantle, creeping jenny, columbine, asters, penstemon, and a few others! Perfect for planting on a budget!

If you want to get a head start, I also have some spectacular 2 gallon shrubs for only $30 each! Find some summer bloomers like butterfly bush, or a stunning vine like wisteria or honeysuckle. Coming from Ontario, pass through Vale and take a slight right turn across the railroad tracks onto Graham Blvd towards Billy Creek reservoir. Go a couple miles and turn right onto Birch Rd. Follow Birch to the end of the pavement and I’ll be right there on your left! If you end up on the canal, you drove right past me! Please remember to be respectful of the neighbors and drive slow!

Indigo Blue Dragonhead is a beautiful perennial for the front of your border! It is another plant that has great drought and heat tolerance making it a great option for those scorching hot areas that won’t grow just anything. In addition to its unique, beautiful blooms, the foliage is very attractive as well, so the plant looks great even when it is not in bloom!

It grows 14-16 inches tall and 10-12 inches wide, making it a manageable size for any garden! It grows best in full or part sun and is hardy in zones 3-8.

Monardella ‘Marian Sampson’ is the perfect ground cover for dry, partly shaded areas! This plant has great drought tolerance and is very low maintenance. Its beautiful blooms attract hummingbirds and brighten up the garden. Additionally, it has a wonderful fragrance!

This trouble-free perennial grows just 3-4 inches tall and about 18 inches wide. Part Shade
