For those customers that don't follow my personal page, the workshop had to undergo a major roof repair. It has been an all encompassing and time consuming task that put all orders on hold. I foolishly thought I could get it done in two weeks and now this is one month later. I am in the final homestretch. Flashing, sealing, anchoring... all the small things will probably take another week. I am looking forward to being done. I have been watching the orders pile up. I am thinking about you.

STAINLESS STEEL INVENTORY IS SOLD OUT! Due to tariffs and market instability, I will not be ordering more stainless steel for awhile. Will it be 3 months, 18 months or 4 years? I wish I knew. I am still working through my aluminum inventory, when it comes time to purchase a new supply we will see how much I will need to raise the price. :(

I achieved my goal of getting all orders and backorders completed today. Everything will be dropped off at the Post Office at 8am tomorrow. Now to create inventory for Pennsic War!

Don't be intimidated; it is easy to do and easy to fix mistakes IF you make them. This kit will assemble a lamellar vest based on the template provided with all the buckles and edging that is needed. The kit's content and patterns are based on unisex t-shirt sizing. The template builds a lamellar vest with buckles on both sides of the torso, so you are able to fine tune your fit easily.

This is a single piece shoulder strap for lamellar kits. It has properly spaced holes for both A and D type plates to be attached. The "bump" on the side with 8 holes is to connect your paldron. Previously an armored strap required 3-7 pieces of leather connectors and trim to assemble. Get the job done easier and faster now. See examples on www.ellsfjordtrading.com or on the Esty store.

Ells Fjord Trading will be at Pennsic 50! You can find me and my artistic friends at #181 between Fleet Street and Brewers Road. I created some grab and go DIY lamellar kits in standard sizes. There will be many pre-assembled cuirasses to select from. Besides shields and other armor supplies you will be pleasantly distracted by the creativity of my friends.

After 6 weeks of waiting, I finally got my shipment of stainless steel 15 minutes ago!!! I will endeavor to get everything done over the weekend so I can ship your order on Monday!
