really enjoying testing out flavor and texture combos lately. always loved a chocolate / berry combo—so for this one, experimented with black currant hard candy, using a microplane to shave the candy dust over a layer of feuilletine (crispy crepe flakes) for a crunch.

Welcome back to Mrs Lady Kitchen! After a year long hiatus and relocation, I am beyond grateful to share this next flavorful chapter with my people in the form of recipes, food journalism, monthly drops in NYC, pop-ups, and the commissions of your wildest sweets dreams. Thank you so much for sharing this most special journey with me over the last 6 years - truly makes my heart full 🫶🏼.

first up: the most decadent [french] brown butter, maple cream, chocolate chip cookies (ccc). crispy edges, chewy inside. semisweet and dark (70%) chocolate, Maldon salt crystal garnish.

Each drop will have a surprise bonus - this week it’s the ccc w black currant feuilletine (carmelized crispy crepe flakes) dust for a little tartness and crunch.

Next drop (1/31) will have these ccc by the half dozen. DM to get on the list. Pickup in UES. Delivery can be arranged.

missed you all. finally settled in a new kitchen and back in NYC. while I test some new recipes, im doing a small bake of the original GF matcha cake loaves w black sesame fluffy buttercream this weekend. all cakes are loaf size, no two cakes are the same design, and a loaf serves 6-8.
