Who We Are

Frogtown Hobbies was created in the summer of 2012 by two long-time friends, Rob Coffman and James Fox, who met while playing the collectible card game Magic: The Gathering in 1998. James, the son of a hobby shop owner, and Rob, a competitive player in the local and regional scene, aimed to create an online experience that combined their many years plSQ2ing and interacting in the indus

try with the needs of gamers from across the country. Just as the games themselves had forged the friendship between James and Rob, they were eager to give back to the gaming community and welcome players of all ages to share and enjoy their favorite collectible card games, board games, and miniatures. To this end, the brand-new Frogtown Hobbies brick and mortar store opened in the Summer of 2014, ushering in a new era of gaming excitement to Northwest Ohio! What We Do

Located in downtown Rossford at 321 Superior Street, Frogtown Hobbies is a full-service gaming shop, offering a variety of gaming supplies and products in a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. Thank you to everyone for their patience through the past week for the disruption in hours of operations. The store is going through a bit of restructuring in an effort to pivot during these trying times.

Going forward we will be open Wednesday and Friday evening 5:30-10pm. All orders can be handled by appointment as needed.

Frogtown Hobbies was formed in the spirit of the Toledo gaming community and greatly appreciates the opportunity to provide a place to game. It is our hope we can work through this to get back to full hours some day.

In this effort will be running some amazing deals going forward so stay tuned!

Good afternoon all!

We are open today from 2-10pm to serve you and the rest of our gaming community! Join us all day today for our very first Commander League night of the year! Earn points towards sick prizes and hang out with other Magic fans from all over the Toledo area!

We would love to see you there tonight but if you find that Wednesday night doesn't quite scratch your Commander itch fear not; we also offer our same Double Points for league members on Friday nights! Join us on either day or both if it suits you!

Also if you're searching for a more competitive Magic event, come by tomorrow at 6:30 for our Pioneer weekly event. We just got in the 2022 Pioneer Challenger Decks! These are awesome starters for anyone looking to break into the format and are easily upgraded to suit your play-style. Stop in and pick up one today!

Good afternoon gamers!

We hope you had an awesome start to the new year and that you will join us today as we open from 2-10pm for all in-store operations! Come by at 6:30 tonight for our Yu-Gi-Oh Advanced locals, meet players from around the area, and earn store credit for your wins. Its an awesome place to get involved with the scene and we hope we will see you there!

Also if your New Year's Resolution was to pick up miniature painting, we have just the thing to kick off that journey in full force! Stop in and check out the Prismatic Paint Starter Cases from Wizards of the Coast!
