20 years ago, a group of guys on Pimp My Ride made internet history. Social media was just up and coming. Myspace was the only thing rolling, and Facebook was in its infancy stage. There was no YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat, tiktok, etc. Pimp my ride franchise was the first of its kind. Many other production companies followed trying to capture The Pimp My Ride audience.

Social media junkies and influencers seem to get a kick out of saying Pimp My Ride was fake and none of the work was real.

Most of these social media junkies and influencers talking smack were not even born yet.
