This single-wide went from plain and forgotten to warm, welcoming and full of character. The forest-green exterior, natural cedar porch and simple landscaping prove you don’t need a brand-new home—you just need a better vision. 🌿🏡

What if a neglected single-wide got a full Pottery Barn-inspired makeover?

In this concept, the plain front steps are replaced with a large covered porch, warm wood beams, designer-style landscaping, architectural lighting, and a welcoming front entrance that completely transforms the home’s curb appeal.

Same trailer. Same footprint. Just a different vision.

Sometimes the biggest transformations don’t come from adding square footage—they come from reimagining what’s already there.

Would you live in the AFTER?

What if this old single-wide trailer got a luxury Pottery Barn-inspired makeover? ✨

This is a concept design created to show what's possible when you look beyond what a home is and imagine what it could become.

The goal was simple: keep the same trailer footprint and transform it with timeless farmhouse details, designer landscaping, warm lighting, and high-end curb appeal.

🏡 White board-and-batten exterior
🏡 Custom wood porch details
🏡 Luxury landscaping
🏡 Modern farmhouse styling
🏡 Pottery Barn-inspired finishes

No demolition. No new build. Just a creative vision of how an older single-wide could be completely reimagined.

Bedroom concept: a storage bed with hidden cat tunnels, cozy sleeping spots, and room for both of us. 🐈 From a pile of lumber to a finished bedroom the cat clearly thinks belongs to her. 😂

Imagine giving a vintage single-wide a complete curb appeal glow-up.

For this concept, the exterior is shown in Behr Hidden Gem (N430-6A) Semi-Gloss Exterior Stain-Blocking Paint & Primer, paired with warm cedar porch details, cedar skirting, black trim, and fresh landscaping for a modern rustic look.

The combination of sage green and natural cedar creates a timeless feel that works surprisingly well on older mobile homes.

Would you choose this color, or go lighter?

I couldn’t afford a new home…..so I turned this trailer into a cottage instead.

If you grew up in a single wide, you already know — they'll always be the coziest homes on the block. 🏡
