After nearly 80 years of serving Benton, our store closed today, concluding a major chapter in our family’s history.
Founded in 1947 by my grandfather, Cecil, our family business has had the privilege of serving generations of customers, building lasting relationships, and growing alongside this community. Over the decades, we’ve adapted with the times — from hardware and furniture to televisions and appliances — and we are deeply proud of the role we’ve played in so many homes and lives.
As this chapter comes to a close, I’m grateful for the years we were able to serve this community and for the memories made along the way. I look forward to spending more time with my grandchildren and creating new memories in the years ahead.
I am incredibly grateful to our customers, employees, partners, neighbors, and friends who have supported us through the years. Your trust and loyalty made this more than a business — it was a place where I watched my grandfather, my parents, my wife, and my children work and grow together.
Thank you for allowing us to be part of your lives. It has been a true honor.
