Hmmm ... should Thursdays focus on tools (alliteration of the "t")? I need to consider that. What are you inputs to this idea? Please share in the comments below.

Every paper crafter needs an easy, accurate, and fast way to cut straight lines.
Some people may be able to draw a line with a ruler and then cut with a scissors, but I'm not that talented. Others may use a metal ruler and a X-Acto knife. I personally am not comfortable with a X-Acto knife.
As a result, I use Stampin' Up!'s PAPER TRIMMER, which I absolutely love.
It can it handle 12" sheets of paper.
The trimmer has both a cutting blade and a scoring nub. In the photo, the scoring tool is the light grey handle and the cutting blade is the dark gray k**b.
The arm that is on the left side pulls out and up so it is level with the ruler going across the top of the trimmer. Once done using the arm for measuring, it can be pushed back flush to the trimmer body.
It's lightweight and travels well. My Paper Trimmer goes with me to every retreat and vacation (if I'll have the opportunity to craft).
Replacement blades and scorers are available as well.

While I'm sure there are other manufacturers out there with paper trimmers, I think you will love ours and not be able to live without it!

Here are the details from the company:

Today I am sharing the second of three cards from my upline's upline. That phrasing cracks me up. Anyway.
The card features the Ouch Bundle.
If you don't have a Cut & Emboss machine or Big Shot, you could purchase just the stamp set, fussy cut the middle bandage, and then elevate it on Dimensionals (pop dots).

Design get-well cards with a personal touch using the Ouch Bundle. Stamp custom bandages and icons like hearts, flowers, and first aid symbols, then easily cut clean, crisp shapes to make your card fronts shine. This bundle is perfect for creating meaningful cards that show how much you care.

This is a Two-Step Stampin’ set; it allows you to layer two or more images to create one final image with extra texture and dimension in the colors you want.

Who wants to make paper flowers?

I personally think I would use the blending brush and ink on a partial sheet of Basic White cardstock and THEN direct and crumple.
