Went and checked on the Angus herd tonight while Joe cut hay. Love when they come up to say hi. These are mostly mommas and 1 week- 5 month old babies that will grow to be meat for our market or put in our breeding program.

Busy week around the ranch so far! Got the shop organized and cleaned up and spray foamed. Fields got sprayed for buttercups and thistle. Cows went skinny dipping, and our old dairy barn is getting a face lift! New concrete floor, water, plumbing, a.c., lights, spray foam, and studs for a new wood wall tomorrow! What's the face lift for?! We are opening a "farm meat store" featuring our beef and so many other cool products! Can't wait to keep everyone updated on status, and opening day with specials!
