Is there anything better than the sound of a healthy turbo-diesel Toyota engine?

This imported RHD HDJ80 Land Cruiser is visiting us for some essential fuel system and engine restoration work. Chayton completely rebuilt the diesel fuel injectors and dialed in a custom tune to get this imported 80 Series running smoother, cleaner, and with much better throttle response. Working on these right-hand drive diesel platforms requires a distinct set of diagnostic skills and a lot of patience, and Chayton absolutely knocked this one out of the park.

We promise this Jeep isn't lost... it just wanted the best techs in Texas working on it.

The rumors are true—Tandem speaks fluent Jeep, especially when they are built like this. Tony is putting the finishing touches on this absolute unit running 1 tons and 40-inch tires. To keep it functional on and off the trail, he's throwing on new sway bar end links, modifying the JL sway bar tab, and giving the inner fender liners and rock rails a precision trim. He also sorted out some finicky wiring to get the customer's rock lights working properly just in time for night rides.
