One more Sunday Session before the 29th Annual NorthShore Inline Marathon !!

Join us at PKP in Andover, next Sunday, for the last big push into your taper. 0830.

Today was 30 miles for most.
Next week will be closer to 15.
Zone 1-2 spins on the bike to get fresh in-between. Daily, off skates drills and maybe a 5k on the track mid-week.

Don't forget to put your feet up when you get a chance. There is nothing worse than feeling 'heavy' legs at the start line on race day. BTDT.

'Track' conditions were perfect today!

Immediately following dryland this week, we'll begin adding the first few volunteers to run their initial 'flying 200s'.

Thereafter, the usual servings of pace line reps to last man out.

The weather is perfect at the moment. Tomorrow morning looks to be suboptimal. We always plan for the best case scenario, but if you're not proximal to the venue- maybe don't put yourselves through those longer drives. No demerits for missing the session😇

We'll still run through some dryland or wetland; whatever the case may be. And hang out if it looks like the roads will dry enough to make it make sense.

Fewer than six days until the Apostle Islands Inline Marathon - today was a semi-taper session.

And yes this 1mi 'track' is as smooth as it looks!

Thanks Jon Schewe for sheparding the gang, in my stead.

Good race this morning in StP. Eleven miles today will still leave room for another hard push tomorrow, with two weeks out until Apostle Islands Inline Marathon on June 14.
