Join us on Saturday, June 20 as we hop on a party bus, visit two independent bookstores, share book recommendations, and spend the afternoon with fellow readers.

📍 Pick up: Nomad Used Books (501 Seguin St.) at 3:30 PM sharp
📚 Two independent bookstore stops
🍷 Drop off: Little House (640 Bouny St.) for our after-party with wine, hors d’oeuvres, and bookish conversation

Little House is just two blocks from Nomad, making it easy to walk back to your car or swing by the bookstore afterward.

BOOKS, CRAFTS, DRAG, PARTY BUSES & CHAOS. Six months ago, Nomad was just a wild idea.

Now? We’re a used bookstore, an event space, a gathering place, a home for readers, artists, weird little goblins, drag queens, junk journalers, families, book enthusiasts, and anyone looking for community.

And June might be our most exciting month yet.

Plus thousands of used books, free children’s and young adult books, local art, bookstore cats, and plenty of opportunities to make new friends.

We may be new to the scene, but we do it differently.

One of the things we love most about independent bookstores is that each one reflects the people who build it. New Orleans is lucky to have so many incredible bookstores, and we’re grateful to be part of that special fam.

Yesterday’s shelving was wild, y’all.

We had FOUR huge donations come in full of adult books, kids books, popular titles, weird little gems, and a bunch of absolute bangers that hit the shelves immediately.

And apparently y’all were paying attention because 3 of the books in this reel are already gone 👀

One of the best parts about a used bookstore is that the shelves are constantly changing. You never know what’s going to walk through the door or what you’ll find waiting for you when you stop in.

We’ll be open today through Saturday from 12–7 PM — come dig through the new arrivals before everyone else does.
