I wanted to take a minute to thank someone who has played a huge role in this journey.
Judy is so much more than an employee. Sheβs an inspiration, a mentor, a friend, and someone I look up to more than she probably realizes.
Who am I kidding? Before I ever started Untamed Grace, I called Judy and told her, βIf youβre not in, Iβm not doing it.β π
She has taught me so much and continues to teach me every day. Sheβs the calm to my storm at the flower shop. Iβm a little wild, sheβs a little seasoned. π And while I might be a little hard-headed at times, Iβm slowly learning that Judy usually knows best. π«©
And I canβt leave Shona out. She comes in from time to time and shares her talents, ideas, and knowledge too. Every time she does, I learn something new.
Some of you may remember Judy from Apple Seeds. Thatβs one of the things I love about small townsβfamiliar faces and familiar voices. Sometimes itβs nice to finally put a face with the voice youβve been talking to.
One might say Judy and I are complete opposites, and Iβd probably agree. π But somehow it works. She keeps me grounded, reminds me to slow down, and helps me see things from a different perspective.
I simply canβt wait until we open the doors to the new shop and all of you get to meet the women who have helped shape so much of Untamed Grace.
And if Iβm being honest, Iβm pretty thankful Iβll have TWO of βthose nice ladiesβ in my shop. πβ€οΈ If you know, you know!
Judy and Shona, thank you for everything youβve done and continue to do. I am grateful for both of you more than youβll ever know. β€οΈπ·
The flower shop may have been my dream, but it wouldnβt be what it is today without people willing to share their knowledge, encouragement, and friendship along the way.
