*We call our community ostomy warriors: ostomates who refuse to let surgery define their limits. Founders Story:

In 2019, shortly after the birth of my first child, I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis. The two years that followed were defined by biologics, weight loss, and a body that refused to cooperate with the life I was trying to live. By 2021, my large intestine was gone. In D

ecember of 2021, I spent 13 days in the hospital and went home with an ostomy that would eventually become permanent. And like the majority of patients who go through it, I faced anxiety, depression, and a version of myself I didn't fully recognize. The products that existed weren't built for people like me – active, young, refusing to slow down. So I built one. Armor Bands is the product I needed and couldn't find. It's for every person who's been handed a new reality and decided to run toward it anyway. - AC Stinson
